3 days trek from Chitral Town to Merin and Kasawer Huts (CGNP)
Overview
This trek of the Chitral Gol National Park starts right below the abandoned PTDC hotel. Both the Merin and Kasawer Huts are situated at beautiful locations where Markhor are frequently sighted. There is also a royal garden and an old royal mosque at Merin
Duration3 Days and 2 Nights from Chitral town.
DifficultyIMPORTANT: Please note that this is not an easy trek. Atleast medium level of trekking experience is required.

Itinerary Breakdown
Day01
- Trek starts From Chitral City after breakfast at 8:00 am
- Lunch at Merin Hut 1PM
- Sightseeing and photography
- Evening tea at 5 PM
- Dinner and bonfire at 10 PM
Day 02
- Breakfast and departure for Kasawer Hut at 8AM
- Arrival at Kasawer Hut 1 PM
- Lunch at 1 PM and sightseeing till evening
- Evening tea 5 PM
- Dinner and bonfire at 10PM
Day 03
- Breakfast and departure for Merin at 8 AM
- Lunch at 1 PM at Merin Hut
- Departure for Chitral Town
- Arrival at Chitral town at 5 Pm
- Eveing tea and stay at guesthouse
- Dinner at 10 PM
- The next day guests will depart for Islamabad/Lahore/Peshawar
